OUH ED Expansion Outdoor Area - Project #23051

OU Health will be opening sealed bids for construction and installation of an outdoor area as Phase 2 of the OUH ED Expansion Project estimated at $310,000 in certified funds. The project aims to enhance the outdoor space surrounding the Emergency Department (ED) to provide a safe and engaging environment for patients, visitors, and staff. The anticipated starting date is November 11, 2024, with a completion date of April 1, 2025.

Bids will be received and publicly read aloud at OU Health Corporate Office located at 515 N. Lincoln Blvd, Room 1017 on September 13, 2024 at 2:00 pm. Bid documents, including the drawings, specifications, contract, instructions, and forms and all questions may be obtained or directed from/to Melissa Milburn melissa.milburn@ouhealth.com (405)343-7307. Prebid questions deadline is August 30, 2024. Pre-bid meeting will be held at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital in the Cousson Conference Room at 3:00 pm on August 26, 2024. Attendance is not mandatory but highly encouraged. Bidder shall not visit the jobsite outside of the Prebid meeting without prior approval from Melissa Milburn. All bids must be submitted on OU Health bid form, to include all Affidavits, to be considered responsible. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of certified or cashier’s check or a Bid Bond in the amount of five (5)% of amount of bid. Upon approval by OU Health of acceptable bids, a Letter of Intent to contract or written contract will be awarded within sixty (60) days after the opening of qualified, responsible bid. All bid amounts must be held and guaranteed through the entire sixty (60) day post-bid award period. Bids should be mailed, or hand delivered in properly sealed envelopes (no more than 96 hours prior to bid time), and clearly marked with Project Name and number to OU Health, 700 NE 13th Street, Box 6, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73104. Hand delivered bids must be delivered to 515 Central Park, Room #1015, Oklahoma City, OK, Attn: Melissa Milburn. Bids must arrive no later than 3:00 PM on September 12, 2024. Mailed bids are at the risk of the bidder. OU Health reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or minor irregularities of any bid in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act.
